This morning started from a visit to the doctor, then having a breakfast in Göttlich. These tulips are from there.
I rather liked it there altogether in the morning. Almost no people and a strange contrast between sunlight outside and a murky pub-like atmosphere inside.

today wasn't a particularly good day. since i couldn't possibly go for a walk, all the photos from today were taken from a bus and this one i like the most. probably because of the strange direction of motion. and the bikes.

Münsterplatz after the rain. Chestnut trees are still in bloom.
I wish i had paid enough attention while taking this picture to turn the table a bit.

somehow overcast days appear so boring and lifeless when you (i) go out with the goal to take photos. but they produce such vivid colors. it surprises me every time.

This one is from the rowing club. I'm not happy with it but at the moment i can't seem to find any reasons to choose another picture.

A strange photo for today. I was walking along Poppelsdorfer allee in the morning and got fascinated by the sharp shadows. Ended up taking a picture of almost every bike parked there i think. But looking at the resulting photos now i see that i failed to make the shadows actually the subjects. They just don't stand out :( that's where the strange crop above comes from.
Does it feel like the bike is actually moving for you? It certainly does for me.

It is simply not possible to escape the temptation of photographing blooming sakura trees.
Today i actually spent a day at Hannover Messe taking pictures of robots playing soccer, but this one turned out to be my favorite so far. The colors are so beautiful.

brown on brown

bare tree growing in a small pondWalking around the botanical garden with a wide lens turned out to be a challenge. I wasn't aware of how much of a habit it became to zoom in on the details as soon as i see flowers. Since it wasn't possible this time i had to change my way of looking at everything around me. This place/tree attracted my attention by a strange color of the water, the sunlit spring-green needles, and the bareness of the tree. It was a trouble to compose though since to get what i wanted i needed to be at least a couple of meters taller. When i first looked at the picture after uploading it to my computer, it was a disappointment. But somehow slowly it came to be my favorite from the day.
