in fact the only reason we can see it at all is because there is a thin mineral film on the surface of the water (which appears kind of like a noise on the picture in the lower half). i was there the other time in winter, when the film was gone (don't really know why it builds up in warmer months) and that time it was hard to believe that there was water at all. it looked just like a normal cave floor (well apart from mirroring the ceiling exactly). i walked into the lake without realizing it back then.
