brown on brown

Walking around the botanical garden with a wide lens turned out to be a challenge. I wasn't aware of how much of a habit it became to zoom in on the details as soon as i see flowers. Since it wasn't possible this time i had to change my way of looking at everything around me. This place/tree attracted my attention by a strange color of the water, the sunlit spring-green needles, and the bareness of the tree. It was a trouble to compose though since to get what i wanted i needed to be at least a couple of meters taller. When i first looked at the picture after uploading it to my computer, it was a disappointment. But somehow slowly it came to be my favorite from the day.
